Who is Poppy?
Poppy is our resident miniature schnauzer — equal parts charm, stubborn opinion, and full-time napper. By day she's the face of PetSavings, auditing every deal we publish with the kind of scrutiny only a dog with a beard can muster. By afternoon she's flat-out on her favourite chair, which is where the very best price comparisons tend to happen.
When she's not sniffing out savings, you'll find Poppy at the beach — chasing waves she has no intention of catching, digging holes that serve no purpose, and rolling in things best left unmentioned. Sand between her paws and salt air in her beard is her idea of a perfect day off. She comes home exhausted, covered in sand, and absolutely convinced she earned it.
Like any self-respecting schnauzer, Poppy has strong feelings about treats (yes please), vet visits (firm no), and anyone who dares approach the front door. She insists on reviewing every product listing herself — if she wouldn't chase it, chew it, or at least sniff it with approval, it doesn't get the Poppy tick of approval.
She's the reason PetSavings exists: we wanted to stop paying vet bills on top of overpriced food, and figured other Aussie pet parents probably felt the same. Every price you see on this site has been audited by Poppy. She takes the job seriously — somewhere between naps and beach trips.

PetSavings is Australia's most comprehensive pet product price comparison site. We compare prices across 70+ brands so you can find the best deal on food, treats, toys, healthcare, and accessories for your furry, feathery, or scaly family members.
How it works
We monitor product prices across 25+ major Australian pet retailers multiple times per week. Our system matches identical products across stores, tracks price history, and surfaces the best deals — all so you don't have to open 23 browser tabs.
What does “audited by Poppy” mean?
Every product listing on PetSavings goes through automated quality checks before it appears on the site. We verify that prices are current, that the same product is correctly matched across different stores, and that outlier prices (suspiciously low or high) are flagged and excluded. “Audited by Poppy” means the listing has passed these checks — it's our way of saying the data is verified and trustworthy.

Pet ownership shouldn't break the bank. We believe every pet parent deserves transparent pricing and easy access to the best deals. PetSavings is free to use — we may earn a small commission when you click through to a retailer, but this never affects the prices you see or our recommendations.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often are prices updated?
We check prices across all stores multiple times per week. Popular products and items with recent price changes are checked more frequently — sometimes daily. Each product page shows when the price was last verified.
What if a price is wrong?
Prices can change between our last check and when you visit the retailer. If you spot an incorrect price, please let us know at hello@petsavings.com.au and we'll investigate immediately. Our anomaly detection catches most errors automatically, but we appreciate the help.
Can I request a product or store to be added?
Absolutely. Email us at hello@petsavings.com.au with the product or store you'd like to see tracked. We're always expanding our coverage.
How do you make money?
When you click through to a retailer and make a purchase, we may earn a small affiliate commission. This never affects the prices you see, which store appears cheapest, or our recommendations. We show you the same prices whether we have an affiliate relationship or not.
