• Account data — if you create an account via our authentication provider (name, email, profile photo)

We automatically collect:

• Device data — browser type, screen size, IP address
• Affiliate clicks — which retailer links you click (for commission tracking)

3. How We Use Your Data

• Send price drop notifications and deal alerts you've subscribed to
• Personalise product recommendations based on your pet profile
• Improve our product matching and price comparison accuracy
• Track affiliate clicks to earn commissions from retailers (this funds the site)

4. Data Sharing & Overseas Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Clerk (United States) — authentication provider. Account data (name, email) is processed and stored on servers in the United States.
• Affiliate networks — anonymised click data for commission tracking
• Hosting providers — to serve the website (servers located in Australia and the United States)

By creating an account, you consent to the transfer of your account data to the United States where it is subject to US data protection laws. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your data in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Your pet profile and preferences are stored locally in your browser — this data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers unless you create an account. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

• Email subscriptions — until you unsubscribe
• Account data — until you delete your account
• Pet profile (browser storage) — until you clear your browser data
• Usage analytics — aggregated and anonymised after 12 months

• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in every email
• Clear your pet profile by clearing your browser data or from your account settings
