Siamese cats originated in Siam (Thailand) and were sacred temple cats before arriving in Europe in the late 1800s. Their striking blue almond-shaped eyes, colour-pointed coat, and vocal personality make them unmistakable. Siamese are extremely social, intelligent, and talkative cats who form deep bonds with their owners. They're one of the most people-dependent cat breeds and don't tolerate being left alone for long periods.

Their slender, elegant build needs high-quality protein to maintain lean muscle without excess weight. Siamese cats have faster metabolisms than many breeds, so calorie-dense food suits active individuals.
