The imidacloprid formula kills adult fleas on contact within minutes and stops re-infesting fleas from biting within 3–5 minutes. The topical also kills flea larvae in the dog's surroundings, helping break the environmental flea cycle. Water-resistant once dry, and also controls biting lice. Safe for puppies from birth and for pregnant and lactating dogs — one of the earliest flea options available for neonatal animals.
