Description

Frontline Spray is a topical flea and tick treatment for both dogs and cats, applied directly to the coat rather than as a spot-on. It's suitable for puppies and kittens from two days of age, which makes it one of the few parasite treatments cleared for very young or newborn animals in multi-pet households.

The active ingredient is fipronil, which kills adult fleas and controls multiple tick species including the paralysis tick — a serious risk along the east coast of Australia. Because it's a spray, coverage can be targeted around problem areas and adjusted to coat length. It's water-resistant once dry, and can be used alongside other parts of a parasite management routine when longer-lasting cover is needed.

Owners reach for the spray version when spot-ons aren't practical — very young animals, mixed households with cats and dogs, or pets that don't tolerate a concentrated pipette between the shoulder blades. It gives more control over how much product goes where.
