Royal Canin Giant Puppy is a super-premium dry food developed specifically for puppies of giant breeds with an expected adult weight of 45 kilograms or more, from weaning through to around eight months of age. It's a targeted growth formula rather than a general large-breed puppy kibble.
Giant-breed puppies go through a prolonged and physically demanding growth phase, so the recipe is calibrated with a carefully controlled energy content, protein level and calcium-to-phosphorus ratio to support steady skeletal development without pushing too-rapid weight gain. It also includes an antioxidant complex to help support a still-developing immune system and highly digestible ingredients suited to the sensitive digestion common in fast-growing big dogs. The kibble is shaped and sized for giant jaws.
