Description

Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Stress + Metabolic is a veterinary-prescribed wet pouch food for adult cats managing both urinary health and weight simultaneously. Designed for cats where excess body weight increases the risk of urinary conditions, it addresses both problems through a single clinically trialled diet — available in chicken flavour in 85g pouches.

The formula is clinically proven to dissolve struvite stones in as little as seven days and reduce the recurrence of feline idiopathic cystitis signs by 89%. It also includes ingredients to help manage stress, a recognised trigger for urinary flare-ups in cats. The metabolic component is documented to reduce body weight by around 11% within 60 days. Chicken is the primary protein source.

Owners use this diet under veterinary guidance when a cat has recurring urinary issues compounded by weight or environmental stress. Managing both conditions through one food simplifies the feeding routine, which matters when a cat is already on a strict dietary plan.

Ingredients

Meat and animal derivatives (chicken 27%), derivatives of vegetable origin, various sugars, vegetables, oils and fats, eggs and egg derivatives, cereals, vegetable protein extracts, minerals, milk and milk derivatives.\r\nUrine alkalising substances: Potassium citrate (0.5 g/kg), potassium chloride (0.2 g/kg), L-cysteine (1 g/kg).
