It covers heartworm prevention plus control of roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, and tapeworm — including Echinococcus granulosus — making it one of the more comprehensive oral worm treatments available for this weight range.

Active ingredients are milbemycin oxime and praziquantel. Milbemycin oxime addresses heartworm prevention and the key nematode species — roundworm (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina), hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum), and whipworm (Trichuris vulpis). Praziquantel adds coverage for tapeworm species including Dipylidium caninum and Echinococcus granulosus. Each dose is given once monthly.
