NexGard Chewables Orange is a monthly oral flea and tick treatment for very small dogs weighing between 2 and 4 kilograms. Given once a month as a flavoured chew, it provides protection against fleas, ticks — including Australia's paralysis tick — mites, lice, and flea tapeworms.

The active ingredient afoxolaner works systemically: it enters the dog's bloodstream and kills fleas and ticks when they bite, rather than sitting on the coat as a topical.
