Royal Canin German Shepherd 5+ Senior is a dry dog food for German Shepherds 5 years and over. The recipe addresses the joint stress, digestive sensitivity and coat changes that emerge in middle-aged Shepherds — typically earlier than other large breeds.
Increased glucosamine, chondroitin and EPA from fish oil support hips and joints — German Shepherds are predisposed to hip dysplasia and arthritis appears earlier than in many breeds. Highly digestible proteins continue to support the breed's notoriously sensitive digestion, while reduced phosphorus protects ageing kidneys.
