Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O is a prescription wet food for adult dogs managing lower urinary tract disease. Available in 410g cans individually or as multi-packs, it's formulated to dissolve struvite crystals and prevent the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate stones. Feed under ongoing veterinary supervision.
The formula works by increasing daily urine output, which dilutes excess minerals before they can form crystals. Magnesium levels are kept deliberately low to create an environment hostile to struvite formation. The moist, pork-based recipe supports the fluid intake that urinary health depends on, and the high palatability helps with dogs that can be difficult to keep on a prescription diet.
