Tetra AquaSafe Plus is a water conditioner for freshwater and marine aquariums, suitable for new set-ups, routine water changes, and established tanks alike. Rather than simply dechlorinating tap water, the BioExtract formula adds natural biopolymers, vitamins, and minerals to actively support the aquarium environment from the bacterial bed upward. The BioExtract complex works on three levels: chlorine and chloramine are neutralised to make tap water fish-safe; natural biopolymers bind and reduce pollutants that cloud water and stress fish; and added vitamins support the formation of a natural protective slime coat. That slime coat is the fish's primary barrier against disease and physical abrasion, and maintaining it is one of the clearest markers of a well-managed tank. The formula works for both freshwater and marine systems.
