Advantix for Dogs (Red) is a monthly spot-on treatment for large dogs weighing 10–25kg, targeting fleas, ticks, lice, mosquitoes, and sand flies. Active ingredients are imidacloprid and permethrin.

Permethrin provides repellent and kill action against paralysis ticks for up to two weeks, and also covers brown dog ticks and bush ticks. Imidacloprid addresses adult fleas and flea larvae, helping to break the infestation cycle rather than just treating the dog. The combination also kills on contact — parasites do not need to bite to be affected, which reduces the risk of disease transmission and flea allergy dermatitis. Applied to skin at the back of the neck.
