Milbemax is a broad-spectrum allwormer for kittens and small cats weighing 0.5 to 2 kilograms. Each box contains two small, flavoured tablets that treat and control roundworm, hookworm, and tapeworm with a single dose every three months.

Given monthly, Milbemax also prevents heartworm — useful in higher-risk regions of Australia. The dual active ingredient formula (milbemycin oxime and praziquantel) targets multiple worm species including immature stages, providing coverage beyond single-ingredient products.

The tablet is small relative to comparable allwormers, and the flavouring makes administration more straightforward for cats that resist handling. Milbemax has a wide dosing band for the 0.5–2kg weight range, which is especially practical for kittens whose weight changes quickly in the early months.
