Vetafarm South American Mix is a veterinary-formulated complete diet for South American parrot species, including Conures, Amazons and Macaws. It's designed as the core daily diet for both breeding and companion birds rather than as a supplement or treat mix.

The recipe combines fresh nuts and grains with extruded pellets to deliver a balanced nutritional profile across the protein, fat, vitamin and mineral requirements of South American species. Vetafarm recommends it makes up about 80% of the bird's total diet, with the remaining 20% coming from fresh fruit, vegetables and appropriate treats, to ensure enrichment as well as nutrition. The formulation is intended to support growth, breeding, brain function and optimum feather development over a long feeding period.
