Sold as a 3-pack of spot-on applicators, it provides monthly protection for bigger breeds that need the larger-dose format to get full coverage.

The formula pairs imidacloprid and permethrin to kill and repel a broad range of external parasites and biting insects. It kills fleas on contact within an hour without requiring a bite, kills flea larvae in the pet's surroundings, reduces flea allergy dermatitis, kills and repels paralysis ticks for up to two weeks, repels brown dog and bush ticks, and repels mosquitoes, sandflies and stable flies. The water-resistant formula continues to work after swimming, bathing or heavy rain. **Important: Advantix is for dogs only — permethrin is highly toxic to cats.**
