The active constituents are 1g/L pyrethrins (extracted from chrysanthemum flowers) and 10g/L piperonyl butoxide as a synergist. Pyrethrin works on contact, killing fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) and lice (Trichodectes canis and Heterodoxus spp.) without the harshness of synthetic insecticides.
