Vetafarm Wormout Gel is a water-soluble bird wormer for caged and aviary birds. It treats the major intestinal worms birds pick up, roundworm, tapeworm, hookworm, threadworm, in a format designed for in-water dosing.

The active ingredients are praziquantel (20g/L) and oxfendazole (20g/L), giving it broad-spectrum coverage against the parasites that cause weight loss, poor feather condition and reduced egg production in birds. It's typically added to drinking water for 48 hours, though direct dosing via crop needle is also possible for birds that won't drink medicated water. Safe for finches through to large parrots when dosed by weight. A standard part of the avian worming routine; most species benefit from quarterly treatment. Sold in 100ml bottles.
