Capstar Green is an oral flea treatment in tablet form for medium and large dogs weighing over 11 kilograms. Each pack contains 6 tablets of nitenpyram 57mg, an ingredient that begins killing fleas within 30 minutes of administration.

Capstar is suited to situations where rapid knockdown of an active flea infestation is needed — before bringing a dog indoors, after boarding, or alongside a longer-term preventative. It reaches peak efficacy within a few hours and remains active for approximately 24 hours.

Capstar does not provide ongoing flea prevention and works best as an acute intervention rather than a primary parasite programme. It can be used alongside other parasite treatments and is suitable for dogs from 4 weeks of age weighing over 11 kilograms.
