Kiltix is a flumethrin-based tick collar for dogs that repels and kills ticks through continuous slow-release of the active ingredient. The collar works by distributing flumethrin as a fine powder across the coat as the dog moves.

Unlike treatments that only kill ticks on contact, flumethrin has repellent properties — Kiltix reduces tick attachment in addition to killing those that come into contact with treated fur. The collar is 66 centimetres long and can be trimmed to fit.

Kiltix is a single-active collar without flea coverage, which makes it straightforward to combine with a separate flea product as needed. It should be fitted snugly to maintain contact with the neck for effective distribution of the active ingredient.
